BOE meeting
07/23/07 at 9:25pm

RP did not show up for the meeting. No surprise here.  Mr. Bishop was there with his wife and lawyer. The board will meet tomorrow at noon to discuss Bishop's contract. Two booster club members spoke on behalf of Probst and asked that the results of the investigation be kept in house. Any thoughts on this?

Were you there Ninnyhammer?  If not, please keep your inane comments to yourself.

Pathetic show by the boosters.  Absolutely pathetic.  They've let their children's football program go to hell and they have no idea how to get it back headed in the right direction.

Even more pathetic was Bill Veitch's attempt to save Bishie's job.  Sadly, oddly pathetic.

Bishop lost his job on his own merit.  Plain and simple.  If you care about Hoover's integrity, please go to that noon meeting on Tuesday.  A.W. (playing both sides against the middle) hedged on his power and will allow all of the Board members to phone each other tonight and tomorrow and give the Boosters a chance to send another pathetic e-mail and phone tree message (I hate those things, BTW) to show some support for Bishie.

Time for those who are ready to move forward to show up in force, too.  Be there or be square.

Bishop lost his job tonight?  I don't recall as such... he likely will, but it's not over until it's over... and it's not over at this time.

Lots of hatred in you, Admin, I mean, HoovaLuva.  Truly sad.  Hey, make sure you ask for forgiveness while sitting in church on Sunday (or when/if you attend Church)...

Does anyone know anything about the next work session for the BOE on August 9th.

Does anyone plan to attend?

Yes.  I'll be there.  We'll post a recap of the board meeting after the 13th.  Sometimes we're able to post a recap of the work session as well.

The BOE usually has a meeting the morning of Institute as well, but I've seen no notification, so I'm guessing they won't be having that meeting?
